Accessing Intuition On The Go
Accessing Intuition On The Go
By Donna Daacke
How many times have you wished you had a magic wand to answer your big questions? And, how many times have you heard the phrase “follow your heart”?
When you follow your heart you’re opening up to where the deeper wisdom resides. Intuition isn’t a magical quality only certain individuals have but perhaps those individuals have become more practiced at listening to the hearts intelligence. Science has found in studies that we experience measured shifts in the heart first then the brain responds and then the body responds with goosebumps and feelings.
Intuition is said to present in different ways. It can pull from insight that has been previously learned but forgotten and stored in the subconscious mind. Another is when we are responding to energetic signals from within our environment. This is where empathy may present or you may feel something about someone energetically the minute you meet them. And the third is considered Non-Local this type of intuition cannot be explained it is when information crosses time and space.
It is my belief that the heart is the seat of the soul and through access to our hearts intelligence we gain valuable resources that can balance emotions and give us the needed clarity we seek in life. But why does it seem so hard to access that intelligence? Well, it’s not hard at all really once you make a point to engage, explore and learn to trust it. Like anything we do well in life we have to practice so that we become confident, comfortable, and proficient.
The following are some simple steps to help you begin a practice of intuition on the go.
We are busy noisy minded humans and the first very important thing we need to do is quiet the mind noise so that we can hear. Calming and quieting opens the door to eliciting from the hearts intelligence with an opportunity to actually hear what the soul has to say.
Step 1. Acknowledge something you would like insight on, or something you are trying to make a decision about.
Step 2. STOP and bring your awareness to your heart breathing at a slightly slowed down pace, creating a shift, quieting the mind and body while remaining focused on your heart awareness.
Step 3. Next silently ask the question and pay attention to any perceptions, feelings, pictures, etc. however subtle.
Step 4. Maybe write down any insights and answers and or attitude shifts you may have experienced. Express gratitude when complete.
Step 5. So important is the the practice. Practice making the heart connection often throughout your day by simply shifting your awareness to the heart, slowing down your breath and hang out there for a minute or so. Doing so gets you into the habit of accessing the heart on the go for shifting emotions in the moment and accessing the heart and souls intelligent wisdom.
It really can be that simple. With practice you’ll become better at recognizing that the heart is always available and always turned on and accessible. Accessing that hearts intelligence is the bridge to deeper wisdom. It is your very personal GPS system use it often and you’ll never get lost!
From the heart,
