The Gift
Slow down, my dear brothers and sisters.
Pause to take in your world. Experience the beauty of doing nothing but in being everything.
Living fully in each and every moment for in this time around, another moment has never been promised.
Letting go of the need to know by allowing simply what is.
Invite in the unraveling of the woven intrusiveness that is being in constant thought, knowing that with everything there is a time and place for weaving.
Breathe in life, pure beautiful newness with every inhale. While acknowledging the necessary release in every exhale of that which has served you well, but serves you no longer.
Escaping the lure of giving up this gifted moment by leaping ahead to the next or being seduced by the last.
Embracing the gift in this very moment by letting go of perfection and finding the satisfaction in what is already perfect.
Finding stillness enough to allow an opening for connection to the authenticity of that which is your true spark and sparkle away.
Light the world with your true essence radiating your brightest rays for all to see, filling all the cracks and cervices with a love so expansive that it burst from its seams.
My dearest, don’t miss one second by being in the next, the gift truly is in the present!
Hit The Pause Botton Exercise
Give yourself permission to hit the pause button whenever and as often as you need. Before starting your day, before ending your day and a whole lot in between. Intentionally stop for two, three, five minutes and shift your focus inward. Ask yourself, what is it that I need at this moment? Breathing in the new, and releasing the old, (stress, invasive thoughts, etc) with your exhale. If it's a struggle for the brain to slow down, use the brains need to be doing something by shifting into gratitude mode. Then Count on ten fingers, ten things that you are grateful for at this very moment. While keeping in mind that they don't have to be elaborate. It can be that you are grateful for the healthy brain that assists you in thinking of these things! Creating the necessary shift and restoring healthy energy flow throughout. The point is to be deliberate about pausing to honor the mind-body need for balance.
