Cup Half Empty or Cup Half Full
Energetic Capacity
Happily you start your day. As you start you enter into traffic and a cranky driver honks their horn for little apparent reason or maybe because they're late for work. Next, the grocery store clerk has a bone to pick with everyone she serves today because she is personally struggling. Your spouse family member has the flu today and you're being a devoted care giver. Finally, into the evening your best friend calls crying and for the next two hours you listen and offer comfort and support to them. This day culminating to a point of now being energetically drained and exhausted.
It's inevitable some days can fill us up or empty us. As energy beings the goal is to allow for discharge and recharge.
A practical tip for both: Remembering that energy follows thought. Through intention, when there's too much charge we are going to release and when there's not enough we are plugging in for charge. A very simple way of doing either, is to stop and find stillness for a few moments, checking in with the body, asking what is it that I need?
Eyes closed focusing your thought/intention see and direct the extra charge to travel through a imaginary extension cord going straight into the ground. Now replacing or bringing in charge, imagine the same cord coming from the ground plugged into you bringing in the voltage that you need. Do this exercise as often as you need on those tough days.
